Particle counter adds up to RO plant savings
August 1st 2008

Using particle counters to optimise pre-treatment of Reverse Osmosis plants can save plants thousands of pounds a year, according to Process Instruments.

It says that optimising pretreatment systems (clarifiers or filters) is the key to maintaining downstream equipment such as reverse osmosis, demineralisers and boilers.

The PC2400 particle counter provides online, continuous monitoring. It uses online, flowthrough sensors that can be multiplexed to provide real time monitoring of filters, condensates or any other component of the pretreatment and feedwater systems
